Our Villas are situated in the picturesque valley of Tauro and in the heart of the newly constructed Anfi Tauro Golf Club, an 18 hole Championship golf course (second 9 will open 1 October 2007). For golfers there are 3 more 18 hole courses within a 20 minute drive of Tauro, all providing excellent golf.

Tauro is located on the the South coast of Gran Canaria, half an hour from Las Palmas airport. A tranquil and serene valley but close to the many tourist attractions, beaches, water sports, shopping, day and night entertainment, dining and the island’s cultural opportunities. Tauro has a typical Canarian beach a short walk from our Villas. A little further along (about 1 km) is the white sand beach and tourist centre of Playa Amadores offering water sports, diving, shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Puerto Rico is about 2 km away, a tourist centre offering an abundance of bars and restaurants, a beach, shops, banks together with day and night entertainment from a water park and mini golf to nightclubs. Further West along the coast is the picturesque fishing villge of Puerto Mogan (Gran Canaria’s own ‘Little Venice’ with its flowery balconies and bridges - take the Glass Bottom Ferry from Puerto Rico for a memorable view of the rugged coastline) where you can relax over a drink or lunch at one of the many fine restaurants as the world passes you by. About 15 minutes to the East of Tauro are the resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. At Maspalomas you will find the famous Sand Dunes that you can explore by camel. Both centres offer markets, more beaches, shops, water sports, day and night entertainment and bars and restaurants to enjoy. Many of the island’s tourist attractions are located in the area.
